Living With Diabetes

Recent research has pinpoint the fact that diabetes is a outward symptoms of the break down of the pancreas from producing insulin.

This is due to the intake of new modern mixtures of sugar, sweets, biscuits, crisps, chocolate, coffee, coca-cola, fats and oil, cigarettes, alcohol, vinegar, pharmaceutical drugs, chemicals, pesticides and preservatives and so on which are injurious to the pancreas.

Our body is meant to heal itself because it is made of natural and organic content, which the body is used. The introduction of these modern junks into the body system tend to upset the pancreas. So instead of it digesting food and producing insulin... your pancreas now becomes a "shock organ."

Which means... Your Pancreas Has to Absorb and Neutralize All the Excess Acids Our Modern Diets Dump Into it.

This is when you developed %u201Cpre%u2013diabetes%u201D%u201A and%u2026If you don%u2019t stop the attacks on your pancreas%u201A you develop type 2 and eventually type 1 diabetes!

So what we need to do is to is to stop feeding our body system with these modern diet and reverse back to taking natural and organic diet.

But I got a good news for you that diabetes can be CURED.

Here are some doctor testimony based on their research.

 Quoted From Leading Physicians . . .

"In our control studies we've done, 83% of those who were Type 1 diabetics were able to eliminate their insulin injections completely."

Dr. Robert O. Young

 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"My personal experience with diabetes and review of the literature made it VERY clear to me that virtually every case of type 2 diabetes is 100  percent reversible."

Dr. Joseph Mercola, settembre 2008

The truth about diabetes you must know is that diabetes is not a disease about not having enough "insulin" but a disease of the organ that produces insulin: The pancreas !

In reality"diabetes" is not the "disease" at all. It is a "symptom"  an outward "signal" of a damaged pancreas that simply is too damaged to produce the insulin your body needs to regulate the levels of sugar in your blood!

And the causes of these damage is your pancreas becoming diseased by acids;sugars,
carbohydrates, excess fats and uric acid(all these are common in our modern diets).

Most of the foods in our modern diet are full of 'Pancreas Destroying' acids, carbohydrates, sugars and fats.

Here are 10 things you should do everyday to cure your diabetes.

1.Follow The Nutrition Guidelines In The Food Pyramid, With Special Attention To Carbohydrate Intake.

Starches are allowed in a diabetes diet, as long as you control portions and don't consume too much starchy food

2.Consume Fruits On A Daily Basis.

Some useful fruits that you should take on daily basis are:

a)Apple-this popular sub-acid fruit one of the most valuable of all fruits, has been found beneficial in the treatment of diabetes of its rich pectin content. This food element reduces the body's insulin requirements by approximately 35 percent.

b)Grapefruit-The grapefruit occupies a high place among citrus fruits because of its favor, its appetizing properties and its refreshing qualities. It is believed that it is a splendid food for diabetics and if this fruit were taken more liberally, there would be much less diabetes.According to Dr. Riley, any person suffering from high blood sugar should take grapefruit three times a day.

c)Jambul fruit-The jambul fruit also known as rose apple is grown all over India. It too possesses anti-diabetic properties. In the indigenous system of medicine this fruits is regarded as specific remedy against diabetes because of its effect on the pancreas. The fruit, the seeds and fruits juice are beneficial in treatment of this disease.

3.Daily Intake Of Vitamins.

Some vitamins and minerals have been found to lower the blood sugar level when taken on daily basis.

Some of these vitamins are:

a)Vitamin B complex - Vitamins of the B group are valuable in the treatment of diabetes. These vitamins help reduce blood fat and cholesterol, they should be generously supplied at all times.

b)Thiamine or Vitamin B1 - Of the various vitamins of the B group, thiamine or vitamin B1 and pyridoxine or vitamin B6 is of special value in diabetes. The primary natural vegetable sources of thiamine are wheat germ, brewer%u2019s yeast, the outer layers of rice, wheat and other whole grain cereals, pulses, nuts, peas, lime, legumes, dark green leafy vegetables, banana and apple.

c)Pyridoxine or Vitamin B6-Diabetics are thus greatly helped by a liberal intake of vitamin B6.  The main natural sources of pyridoxine are milk, brewer%u2019s yeast, cereals, legumes, green leafy vegetables and carrot.

4.Intake Of Low-Carb Diets.

Low carb diets contains a menial amount of carbohydrate and a lot of protein and fat which is good for a diabetic patient. For a diet to work in favor of a diabetic, it has to be low in fat, high in fiber, and packed with minerals, vitamins, photochemical, and antioxidants.

5.Daily Exercise.

Exercising will not only keep your body healthy, but it will also be able to help in regulating the blood glucose levels in your body.

6.Weight Loss.

The effects of limiting the amount of carbohydrates in your diet manifest as loss of weight due to a lesser calorie intake, or the successful maintenance of your ideal weight. Remember that with weight loss, the body's blood sugar and insulin levels naturally improve. Even just a 10 percent weight loss is a substantial improvement towards being in better control of diabetes.

Many people are used to eating canned or processed foods but it is not the best. Many of these processed foods contain chemicals that can damaged the pancreas thereby reducing the production of insulin in the body.If you are diabetic you should take more of natural foods.

9.Attending Seminars Concerning Diabetes.

Diabetes is a disease where cure is yet to be found. It is a very serious disease that you will need to deal with for the rest of your life. It is also a disease that is one of the leading causes of death in the country.

It is a fact that having diabetes can be very depressing. In fact, many people felt depressed during the first few weeks of diagnosis. If you have diabetes, you may want to keep in mind that it's not the end of the world. You can still continue living a full and normal life, but you have to do so with the disease.

Perhaps you, like many other Americans, have recently been diagnosed with diabetes. Diabetes can be a life threatening condition and can cause many different complications in individuals with this illness. If you or a loved one has recently been diagnosed with diabetes,be aware that you can control diabetes. By maintaining your weight, following the instructions of your doctor and taking your medication, as well as watching your diet, you can eliminate the complications that often arise in someone with this condition.

Diabetes is usually accompanied with a persistent, excessive discharge of urine. Sugar diabetes is a grave form in which the body is unable to utilize properly the carbohydrates in the diet due to failure in the secretion of insulin by the pancreas. It is accompanied by sugar in the urine, excessive thirst and hunger and it is also causes the patient to become thin or loose flesh. (Test for diabetes:Check the place where one urinated after five minutes. The presence of small black ants is an indicator that there is sugar in one's urine). One can use water closet or bedpan (chamber pot).

A) Eat one or two carrot with two tablespoonful of pure honey first thing in the morning, allow two hours interval before you eat. Do it continuously for ten weeks.

B) Get 3 spring celery: A vegetable with long pale green stems that you can eat cooked or uncooked. A stick celery, 3 medium clove of garlic (grind with the skin on) and 1 cup of water. Boil everything together drink at least one hour before breakfast. It reduces the sugar level. Use daily and monitor the sugar level. Take teaspoonful of pure honey once a day in addition.

C) Take two tablespoonful of pure honey three times a day (morning, afternoon and evening) preferably first thing in the morning and last thing at night, that of afternoon can be one hour before food. Do this continuously for about four months.

Hogan Bassey(1986) reported that pure honey is an excellent source of sweet for diabetic patients. One can use it generously in place of refined sugar. The glucose level in the body decreases after regular consumption of honey. Meanwhile, one still needs to get in touch with a qualified medical doctor for periodic check up and treatment.

These are some of the things that you should do if you are diabetic. With these procedure, you can be sure that you will be able to make your life easier and really help you cure diabetes.

Type one diabetes is far less common than type two diabetes and it will affect younger individuals. It is most found in people under the age of 40 and mostly under the age of fourteen. There are people who have been diagnosed with it after forty but it is very rare. Diabetes is a serious issues and type one is the worst. It is associated with the lack of insulin.  It is a dysfunction of the pancreas where it will just stop making insulin in the amount the body needs to maintain a normal level of glucose in the blood. Many people who have type one diabetes will have symptoms of hyperglycemia.

Hyperglycemia is where your glucose is too high in the blood. Meaning your blood sugar is too high. The common symptoms of hyperglycemia or diabetes type one is frequent hunger, frequent urinating, and frequent thirst. You will also experience blurred vision, fatigue, weight loss, your healing power will be low (meaning it will take you a long time to heal a wound or cut), dry mouth, dry or itchy skin, and you could have impotence for males. Your immune system will become weak and you will be able to pick up infection easily.

The reason why you are always hungry is because your body can not use glucose as an energy source. It is also, why you tire out easily. Since the body can not absorb sugar or glucose into the blood cells you will release it through frequent trips to the bathroom. Since you make many trips a day to the bathroom, your body realizes that it is losing excess water and that's why you will become thirsty. When it comes to the symptoms, you may experience them all together or it may take some time for your body to go through the process. Most likely though it will be gradual.

The changes of developing type one diabetes is 3.7 to 20 per 100, 000. Over 700,000 Americans have type one diabetes, which adds up to be about ten percent of the total population that has the disorder. It is more common to have type two diabetes. The reason why people develop the disorder is because an autoimmune disorder. The body will start to see it's own tissue as a foreign object and then it destroys the body's ability to make insulin. It has been rumored to be a cause from the mumps, rubella, measles, influenza, polio, or other viruses. That's why it is very common in young children because those epidemics affect younger children more often than older adults. Diabetes is also genetic. You may simply have the disorder because an immediate family member has it.

As for treatment, type one involves injections of insulin. It is absorbed in the blood stream and absorbed by the cells that need insulin and it will then control the levels of sugar in the blood.

It is a fact that having a child suffering from diabetes can pose new challenges and worries. It can be very stressful for parents and the child, and that it will seem that this is a death sentence to your child. However, children with diabetes can still live a full and normal life. With proper management, living with diabetes can be easy and normal.

Having an infant or toddler diagnosed with diabetes can be very frightening. They don't know anything about the disease and it can really be challenging for parents to manage and treat the disease as the child have no way of communicating what they are feeling.

The same situation goes for preschoolers with diabetes. They really haven't learned to recognize the symptoms of having low blood glucose level and they will never be able to tell others when they are feeling low. This is why it is very important to constantly check the blood glucose level of your child as often as possible.

However, you need to understand that the child may be frightened by lancets poking their fingers and regular insulin shots. You should expect that they will try anything in order to avoid it or at least try to delay it from getting them. It will help if the parents talk to the child and tell them that they know it hurts and also tell the children that they are being very brave. Stickers and rewards will help encourage the child to get the insulin shot or get pricked by the lancets for drawing blood for sample. Instead of scolding or threatening them with punishment, always use positive reinforcements.

However, keep in mind to avoid using food as rewards as this can lead to an unhealthy relationship with food.

You also need to keep in mind that children with diabetes can have the same fussy eating habits as other children who are not suffering from the disease. It is best not to force the child to eat the certain food you are offering them. Instead, try offering them a different kind of food, which is also good for their diabetic diet. You can also offer them juice or milk instead if they really don't want to eat.

During school age, your children will start wanting to be like their peers. It will be often difficult for them to understand why they are different from other children as they need to take insulin and have to follow a certain meal plan. Usually, the best way to handle this kind of situation depends entirely on the personality of your child.

Some children wants to show off to their classmates about their condition, such as they try to check their blood glucose level themselves and even try giving themselves an insulin injection for show and tell. Some older children with diabetes even presented the disease as science projects. However, you need to keep in mind that there are children that will not want to bring the disease they are suffering from on center stage.

They prefer to keep quiet about it and it is important for you to let your children decide who to tell about their disease and how much to tell. However, it is important to tell teachers, coaches, family, and close friends about it in order for them to understand what your child is going through.

These are the challenges that you should expect when living with children with diabetes. It can be very challenging and depressing at first but after a while, you will see that you and your child will be able to adjust and live a normal and full life.
